This is an epic post Dorian about an epic thinker and practitioner CA, which I have referenced more than once. Your post that is. The tragedy of our civilization and our industry(s) is that this post doesn't have millions of likes and comments, but only a few. What needs to change for people to engage with these complex yet fundamental to life System A ideas? How can one be optimistic if these ideas are not shared and assimilated within all design communities and disciplines... ?
Thank-you for the rich appreciation and reflection on Alexander's work. I found the OOPSLA video via your link too! Doing some ongoing archiving of his work here https://github.com/a-pattern-language/pattern-language
is there a way to get a printer-friendly version of this, one-click friendly? That would be a killer feature. Currently I use Firefox 'reader view', copy-paste into a google doc, manually reformat to look better printed, name the PDF, download it, print it.
It's a lot of steps. Would love a printer-friendly page!
